YMCA
Together, the nation's more than 2,500 YMCAs are the largest not-for-profit community service organizations in America, working to meet the health and social service needs of 18.9 million men, women and children in 10,000 communities in the United States. Ys are for people of all faiths, races, abilities, ages and incomes. No one is turned away for inability to pay. YMCAs' strength is in the people they bring together.
Integrity Fundraising is committed to the Y’s mission of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities. We accomplish this by securing funding for a variety of YMCA needs:
- Wellness Centers – Population growth usually increases demand for new facilities. The needs of decades-old facilities can sometimes be met with remodeling and renovating these structures. Components may include exercise facilities, an aquatics center, gymnasium, youth and teen center, rock-climbing walls, and study centers with high-speed internet access.
- Camps – Dining halls, staff and youth cabins, maintenance equipment and garage, health care centers, climbing towers, and paved walkways are just some of the needs associated with aging camp properties.
- Expanded Programs – Swim lessons, child care, sports, teen leadership programs like clubs, Black Achievers, Earth Service Corps, Leader Clubs, Hi-Y, Youth and Government, Model United Nations, middle school programs and more.
- Endowment – Costs associated with scholarships, facility maintenance and program subsidization can be lessened by a healthy endowment.
Best of all, Integrity Fundraising can secure considerable funding for these initiatives without negatively impacting your annual Partners with Youth campaign. When we secure pledges for your project, we make it clear to potential funders that their first priority is their continued Partners with Youth commitment. Only then do we request a specific pledge towards your capital campaign. After all, if we simply shift financial support from operations to capital expenditures, what have we really accomplished?
