Integrity Fundraising is committed to the more than 300 local councils of the Boy Scouts of America and their mission to prepare young people (3.1 million in 2004 alone) to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. We accomplish this by securing funding for a variety of Scouting needs:

• Service Center – As the demand for Scouting grows, so does the demand placed on its headquarters and service center. Successful capital campaigns can secure funding for new facilities as well as the remodeling and renovating of existing structures.
• Camps – Dining halls, staff and youth cabins, maintenance equipment and garage, health care centers, climbing towers, and paved walkways are just some of the needs associated with aging camp properties.
• Expanded Programs – Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Venturing, Scoutreach, and other critical programs can be expanded in new and existing markets to new and existing participants.
• Endowment – Costs associated with scholarships, facility maintenance and program subsidization can be lessened by a healthy endowment.

When we secure pledges for your council, we make it clear to potential funders that their first priority is their continued Friends of Scouting commitment. • The research conducted by Lou Harris and Associates enables us to quantify the results of your proposed program. It found that 40% of Scouts graduate college versus 16% of non-Scouts, enabling us to illustrate how expanding your programs increases the total payroll in your community. That in turn increases the dollars spent on utilities, newspapers, rent, cars, clothing, fuel, etc. By demonstrating the positive correlation that exists between Scouting the your local economy, we maximize the financial support we secure from local businesses!
• Founder and President Rick Kiernan has made a number of trips to Philmont to attend council planning retreats and educational seminars. His most recent visit in Summer 2005 focused specifically on securing major gifts for councils around the country.
